Michael Spataro has walked the walk so he can talk the talk, residentially speaking. He’s a tried-and-true New Yorker, having grown up in Sheepshead Bay and currently living on the Upper West Side. Michael purchased his first Manhattan residence in 1996; he now owns three Manhattan properties.
Michael transformed a long-time real estate hobby into a side business, and eventually, a full-time career. Today, Michael is a full-service New York City agent.
Before obtaining a professional license, Michael implemented information systems with IBM for 18 years and with Accenture for 6 years. He also performed financial analysis for the American headquarters of a Dutch retail clothing firm, and he worked in advertising and in instructional design/development. Michael obtained an MBA (MIS & Marketing) and a BS (Finance & International Business) from Pennsylvania State University and New York University, respectively. He also attended high school in Chelsea.
Once upon a time, Michael’s Italian was fluent. While he is out of practice, Michael has an affinity and knack for Romance languages. An I-Love-the-Planet fact is that Michael has saved dolphins in Spain, birds in Peru, and turtles in Costa Rica. Additionally, Michael has made extra time to design a Dutch Colonial house, audition for a Broadway show, and climb a Guatemalan volcano.
